About Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park
Mosi-oa-Tunya is the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, "the smoke that thunders", a World Heritage Site shared with Zimbabwe, with the Knife-edge bridge, the Boiling Pot walk into the gorge and, at low water from about August to December, the swim to Devil's Pool on the lip of the falls from Livingstone Island. The small game park upstream holds white rhino under guard, giraffe and zebra, and is the only place in Zambia to see rhino. Livingstone, ten kilometres away, is the base for rafting, bungee, microlights and river cruises. High water from about February to May gives the fullest falls and the most spray.
