Enjoy the beautiful self-catering Boathouse on our multi-award winning olive farm. If you haven't been to Tulbagh before you are in for a wonderful surprise as there are so many things to do and see. Just 90 minutes from Cape Town and part of the Cape Winelands. This tranquil farming valley is nestled between three mountains, The Groot Winterhoek, The Witzenberg, and the Obiqua. For your convenience on arrival, there is tea, coffee, (Nespresso Machine and Plunger), milk, rusks, and ice. Firewood for the barbecue and indoor fireplace as well as firelighters. There is also a complimentary olive tasting voucher for two, valid for your stay (closed on Sundays). Please present your voucher at the Oakhurst Olive Tasting Room to validate it. Please note that The Boathouse can only accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Space is not recommended for children because of its proximity to the water. You will be staying on a beautiful farm with exclusive use of The Boathouse, situated at Oakhurst Olives, against the slopes of the Groot Winterhoek Mountains.
Once a royal homestead, situated on twenty three picturesque hectares amongst olive orchards and vineyards, Retreat at Waterfall Valley is an idyllic and luxurious private retreat. Oak Tree Lodge is a friendly, family-run guest house in the historic winelands town of Paarl, just 45 minutes from Cape Town. Owned and run by Yvette and Gerd Baudewig since 1994, it's a quiet base on the Cape Wine Route with personal, attentive service and easy access to the rest of the Western Cape. The property is centrally located on Paarl's Main Street and offers comfortable rooms and suites spread across a leafy garden setting with a swimming pool, sun terrace and bar. A full English breakfast is included and is served on the patio in summer or in the dining room. Drinks and packed lunches can be arranged, as can airport transfers, day tours and car hire. Monkscowl Estate is a private working vineyard on Annandale Road in Stellenbosch, letting four self-contained places to stay among the vines, with a swimming pool and views across the rows to the mountains. Owl Cottage is the one to book for a a special occasion: a fully private cottage drawn from Moroccan design, with a king bed, its own pool, a hot tub, a fireplace, underfloor heating, a gas braai and doors that open the living space onto the garden. The Vines is a two-bedroom apartment sleeping four, with a kitchen and living area and access to the estate pool, which suits friends or a small family. Treetops is a one-bedroom apartment for up to three, with a king bed, a shower bathroom, a kitchenette, a lounge with a fireplace and a private patio over the pool.
