Spekboom operates as an online travel agency (OTA) and accommodation booking platform that facilitates connections between travelers and accommodation providers worldwide. We support communities reliant on travel and their surrounding environment by providing a secure marketplace for accommodation bookings.
Platform Role: Spekboom acts solely as an intermediary and technology platform connecting guests with independent accommodation providers. We do not own, operate, manage, or control any accommodations, properties, or hospitality services offered through our platform.
The platform enables users to browse and book accommodations, including hotels, lodges, B&Bs, serviced apartments, and rondavels. Accommodation providers (hosts) are independent contractors responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate and updated.
By using our platform, you acknowledge that your contractual relationship for accommodation services is directly with the accommodation provider, not with Spekboom.
