Questions people ask

Is 11 nights enough for a family safari and the Cape?

Eleven nights gives every stop at least two nights, which is what children need to settle.

Is it really malaria-free?

Yes. Cape Town, the Garden Route and the Eastern Cape, including Addo and the private reserves around it, are outside the malaria areas, which is why families choose this route for a first safari.

Do reserves take young children on game drives?

Many do, with age limits that vary by reserve, and some run private vehicles for families. We check the rules at each stay for your children’s ages before we send the plan.

How is the journey priced?

For your dates and your family. We check every night with the hosts, including the rates for your children’s ages, and send one priced plan with flights, car hire and park fees set out alongside the stays.
