Mount Currie Nature Reserve lies on the slopes of Mount Currie just outside Kokstad in southern KwaZulu-Natal, protecting montane grassland around Crystal Springs Dam. Blesbok, black wildebeest and other grassland antelope graze here, and the reserve is good for grassland birds and fishing. The laager site of Adam Kok, founder of Kokstad, lies within it. Campsites and simple stays make it a stopover between the Drakensberg and the Eastern Cape.
