About this place
Biyamiti Bushveld Camp sits on the banks of the Mbiyamiti River in the game-rich south of the Kruger National Park, half hidden by Delagoa thickets. It is one of the park's smaller and more secluded camps, reached by private access roads open only to residents, which keeps the setting quiet and intimate. With the larger rest camps within easy reach, guests can still draw on their shops and restaurants when needed.
The camp stands in the fairly dense mixed Combretum veld of the area, where tamboti, knob thorn, sausage tree and marula grow. The surrounding bush holds a strong cast of wildlife, with giraffe, kudu, impala, elephant, rhino, buffalo and hippo all regularly seen, along with lion, leopard and hyena, and the occasional cheetah or pack of wild dogs.
Facilities are deliberately simple. A reception with a small shop sells firewood, ice and basic items, each unit has its own braai, and guided bush walks and game drives with trained field guides are on offer.
Biyamiti as SANParks lays it out. Choose the part of camp you would like; we ask for it when you request availability, and SANParks assigns the unit when they confirm.
Where would you like to be?
Schematic, not to scale.
What the codes mean
SANParks names every unit by a code. The letters say what it is, the number says how many it sleeps, and any letters after that mark a view, an accessible unit or a perimeter position. Tap a code for that room's rates and photos.
45 birds recorded here or nearby, including 2 of conservation concern. Tap a bird for stays where it has been recorded and its field notes.
Nothing is hidden, in-season birds simply move to the front. Months come from national records, not from this garden.

These are records, not promises. Wild birds and animals move, so sightings are never guaranteed.
