About this place

Inzolo is the smallest of Lalibela's lodges: four suites tucked into a secluded valley, ringed by rugged cliffs, rock formations and indigenous bush, with an active waterhole in view.

Each suite is stone clad and thatched, with a private viewing deck, a large bath, his and hers basins and an enclosed shower with its own view of the bush, plus a mini-bar, a coffee station and a safe.

The main lodge is built around the view: the lounge and dining room open onto a sweeping terrace and an outdoor dining area, and the pool terrace is tucked in among the rocks. With room for eight guests, Inzolo can also be booked for exclusive use.

Stays are full board with two open-vehicle game drives for every night, plus teas, coffees and local drinks. Inzolo welcomes adults and children aged 14 and older.

About Lalibela Wildlife Reserve

Lalibela Wildlife Reserve is a malaria-free Big Five reserve in the Eastern Cape, on the N2 between Gqeberha and Makhanda and about an hour from Gqeberha's airport. Five ecosystems meet on the reserve, and its six lodges range from a family camp and a tented camp in the forest canopy to an exclusive-use Edwardian manor.

Conservation contribution fees (2.5%) support conservation and community projects in the destinations you visit. Payment processing fees are absorbed by Spekboom for completed bookings, but cannot be recovered once a booking is cancelled. Referral commissions, where applicable, are paid to the referring party upon booking confirmation.

Payout Protection: Guest payments are held until the free cancellation window passes. This protects guests who cancel within their cancellation window and ensures hosts receive guaranteed payouts after the cancellation period ends.
