Camp Imbalanga offers an unparalleled rainforest experience in Odzala-Kokoua National Park, one of Africa's oldest parks and premier destination for western lowland gorilla viewing. This intimate forest camp features 4 ensuite canvas chalets accommodating 8 guests, nestled under the canopy of enormous trees just 3 minutes walk from Imbalanga Baï where guests can observe gorillas, forest elephants, and other wildlife from elevated treehouses. This is authentic gorilla watching - no trekking required, no time limits, wild unhabituated gorillas in their natural rainforest habitat. Meals feature Congolese cuisine with sophisticated urban flair, often prepared traditionally wrapped in leaves. The camp runs on solar power and offers an experience from a bygone era in one of Earth's most biodiverse ecosystems - home to the Forest Big 5 including western lowland gorillas, forest elephants, forest buffalo, bongo, and giant forest hog. All tourism revenue supports conservation and local communities through African Parks' 25-year management agreement.

Note: The 2.5% conservation contribution, payment processing fees, and any applicable referral commissions are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Conservation contribution fees (2.5%) support conservation and community projects in the destinations you visit. Payment processing fees are absorbed by Spekboom for completed bookings, but cannot be recovered once a booking is cancelled. Referral commissions, where applicable, are paid to the referring party upon booking confirmation.
