Kwessi Dunes is located deep in Namibia's striking NamibRand Nature Reserve, a vast desert wilderness of over 200,000 hectares. Opened in March 2020, the lodge features 12 air-conditioned chalets with striped canvas walls, high thatched roofs, and ensuite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. Each bedroom has a separate 'star gazer' room open to the sky. The camp is 100% solar powered with 24-hour electricity. Activities include scenic drives, desert walks, quad biking, and star gazing, with optional hot air ballooning and horse riding.
