About this place
The Marly sits on The Promenade in Camps Bay, across the road from the beach, with the Twelve Apostles rising behind it and Lion's Head at the end of the bay. Named after the Château de Marly, the retreat Louis XIV built for leisure, it is a 38-room boutique hotel on the upper floors of a white beachfront building, and part of the Kove Collection with The Alphen in Constantia and The Cole in Sea Point.
Rooms face either the sea or the mountains. Each has an extra-length king bed, air conditioning, a Nespresso machine, a smart TV and a Marshall speaker, and most have a balcony. The sea-facing suites have large balconies with sun loungers, and the Deluxe Sea-Facing Suites add an outdoor shower and a jacuzzi on balconies of over 40 square metres. A two-bedroom mountain-facing suite, with a bathroom for each bedroom, suits families.
The rooftop pool, for hotel guests only, looks out over Camps Bay to Lion's Head, Table Mountain and the Atlantic, with Baptiste, the rooftop bar and lounge, beside it. The spa offers massages and skin treatments with QMS products, and there is a gym. Breakfast, wi-fi and parking are included. There is no single hotel restaurant: guests eat at the Kove Collection's places in the same building and along the strip, from Bilboa and La Belle to the seafood restaurant Paranga on the beachfront.
Camps Bay beach and its tidal pool are across the road, the promenade walk runs towards Clifton, and Lion's Head, Signal Hill and the Table Mountain cableway are all close by. The city centre is about seven minutes' drive away.

Children are welcome. Children up to 3 stay free, and children aged 4 to 16 sharing with their parents pay a nightly supplement that includes breakfast, with a smaller supplement for a second child. Up to two children can share most rooms and suites with two adults, on a sofa bed. The Studio and the Deluxe Sea-Facing Suites sleep two adults only, and the two-bedroom suite suits a family of four or more.

Conservation contribution fees (2.5%) support conservation and community projects in the destinations you visit. Payment processing fees are absorbed by Spekboom for completed bookings, but cannot be recovered once a booking is cancelled. Referral commissions, where applicable, are paid to the referring party upon booking confirmation.
Payout Protection: Guest payments are held until the free cancellation window passes. This protects guests who cancel within their cancellation window and ensures hosts receive guaranteed payouts after the cancellation period ends.
