About this place
The Cole opened in December 2025 on Church Road in Sea Point, a few steps from the Promenade and the Atlantic. Designed by Robert Silke & Partners in a tropical mid-century style, the building is turned 45 degrees to the west so that it opens to the ocean, with curved balconies, cream walls, bronze detail and a base of Egyptian marble. It is the newest of the Kove Collection's three hotels, alongside The Marly in Camps Bay and The Alphen in Constantia.
There are 60 rooms and suites of 40 to 70 square metres, each with a private balcony, an extra-length king bed, air conditioning, a Nespresso machine, a smart TV and a rain shower. Sea-facing rooms look over the Atlantic; mountain-facing rooms look up to Lion's Head and the city. The Sea-Facing Suites add a separate dressing room, a lounge area and a deep soaking bath.
Figo, the restaurant on the eighth floor, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with Italian-inspired cooking and views over the ocean, beside a rooftop pool. Script, the lobby bar, is known for its cocktails and has jazz on Saturday nights. The spa has treatment rooms, a sauna and a cold plunge pool, and there is a gym. Breakfast, wi-fi and parking are included.
Outside the door are the Sea Point Promenade, the tidal pools at Saunders' Rocks and the saltwater pool at the Sea Point Pavilion. Lion's Head and Signal Hill are close by, the V&A Waterfront is a short drive away, and the airport is about 30 minutes by car.

Payment processing fees are absorbed by Spekboom for completed bookings, but cannot be recovered once a booking is cancelled. Referral commissions, where applicable, are paid to the referring party upon booking confirmation.
Payout Protection: Guest payments are held until the free cancellation window passes. This protects guests who cancel within their cancellation window and ensures hosts receive guaranteed payouts after the cancellation period ends.
