Spioenkop Nature Reserve surrounds a dam beneath the historic Spioenkop battlefield near Winterton, with watersports, fishing, game-viewing (giraffe, zebra, white rhino, antelope) and birding. A campsite with plug points serves overnight visitors. Operated by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. Rates are per campsite (Standard season) with a per-person supplement.
