Pafuri Border Camp

Pafuri Border Camp lies in the far northern reach of the Kruger National Park, not far from Punda Maria and near the confluence of the Luvuvhu and Limpopo rivers. This remote corner of the park, close to the Zimbabwean and Mozambican borders, is one of the most biodiverse and atmospheric parts of Kruger, with a wild, end-of-the-road feel.

The region is celebrated above all for its birdlife and its great riverine forests of fever trees and giant figs along the Luvuvhu, and for its baobab-studded ridges.
