About this place
Boulders Bush Lodge sits among the rocky outcrops of the northern Kruger National Park, roughly 25km south of Mopani camp. Built into and around the granite koppies that give the lodge its name, it is an exclusive, self-contained retreat taken on a whole-lodge basis, well suited to a family or small group seeking quiet and privacy deep in the bush.
This is a remote, low-impact camp rather than a serviced rest camp. There is no shop, restaurant or reception, no mains power points in the units and no cellphone reception, so visitors come prepared and self-catering, with Mopani the nearest point for supplies and fuel.
The reward is the seclusion. Surrounded by mopane woodland and open country, the lodge is a fine base for unhurried game viewing, with buffalo, zebra and giraffe regularly about, and raptors such as tawny eagle overhead. Guided walks and game drives can be arranged in advance through Mopani.

Hazyview is a beautiful destination in Mpumalanga, offering visitors access to local amenities, natural attractions, and the authentic character of South African life.
