Rose on Kerry is a lovely back-garden apartment offering a peaceful getaway in the green heart of Parkview, central Johannesburg, a stone's throw from popular attractions, golf courses, the cafes of Tyrone Avenue and the city's two universities.

The apartment is a modern take on Victorian style meeting urban living. Surrounded by an incredible garden home to over 100 roses, you cannot help but imagine yourself far away from the bustle of the city.

You will have access to the entire apartment, consisting of two large bedrooms, each with a small lounge area and its own en-suite bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed, smart TV and plenty of cupboard space, and each bathroom has a large walk-in shower (one also has a bath in addition to the shower).

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so cooking is possible even during load shedding. The dining area has stack doors that open fully onto a stunning sitting area for afternoon relaxing or enjoying your meals, and a bean-to-cup coffee machine comes fully stocked with coffee beans.

You are welcome to explore the garden and all the nooks and crannies it offers, including a secret garden at the back for reading or relaxation. There is also a large swimming pool, open for guests to use. Please note the pool has no cover or fence, so children should not be left unattended around the pool area.

Solar power, battery backup and an inverter system power the apartment: green and load-shedding free.

A single private parking garage is available for guests. If you drive a large SUV, let your hosts know in advance so an alternative garage can be arranged for larger vehicles.
