Explore this unique region in South Africa far away from city life using the self-catering Rooikloof Guest Farm accommodation as your holiday base or point of departure. This is the ideal place to kick off your shoes and simply relax on vacation. Alternatively one can explore the farm hiking at your leisure or enjoy a scenic picnic in the shade of a rare tree near one of the fresh water springs. Come home each night to a log fire and watch in amazement as a galaxy of stars unfolds right before you. We offer a choice of fully furnished country houses for the connoisseur. Each house has its own unique features from original wooden floor boards, old thick walls, cast iron ovens to lofts and reed ceilings. Huis Harpuis, Renosterbos Cottage and Spekbossie are tastefully decorated with antique furniture, pictures, plenty of warm bedding and inviting fire places. Koesnaatjie 1 & 2 offer rustic stopover lodgings that reflect the simplicity of true Karoo living.
