Situated on the eastern tongue of the Okavango Delta in the game rich Khwai area overlooking the Moremi Game Reserve is Machaba Camp. Built along the beautiful riverine tree-line of the Khwai River, this child friendly, independently owned, tented camp boasts instant game viewing from its prime river front setting. But not only is the game viewing excellent, the camp staff is always present to provide everything you need. The camp is named after the Machaba tree, which are renowned for their abundant fruit, feeding a vast array of animals throughout the year, including elephant, baboons, bush buck, green pigeons and many more. Machaba means "tree of life", so it's no small wonder that the animals love to hang out close to your tent. As for you, this camp will offer a once in a lifetime experience. Imagine starting your day while gazing at an elephant herd right in front of your tent, venture out into the dense wildlife concession by boat, foot or vehicle, select a treatment from the spa-menu for your tired safari body (or just to pamper yourself) and nourish yourself with freshly, homemade meals and cocktails at sunset.
