Camp Okuti

Okuti lies along the Maunachira River, which flows through the Moremi Game Reserve’s Xakanaxa Lagoon, in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta. Okuti provides excellent game viewing on both land and water, due to its widely varied and protected habitats.

Although night drives and off-roading are not permitted in this part of the Delta, rest assured that Xakanaxa is a stunningly beautiful part of the Moremi Game Reserve. This is home to Botswana’s densest wildlife populations, and encounters with wild cats like leopards, cheetahs, and lions are common.

As you wake up to the early call of hippos and a bright orange sunrise, the staff will have already prepared a delicious picnic basket for your first game activity. When the sun starts climbing, it’s time to hop into your vehicle and discover the Moremi Game Reserve.
