The Perfect Place to Escape - Barbie's Beach House Pringle Bay Welcome to this amazing part of South Africa! We're beyond excited to have you. This is an incredible area we live in and we are all doing our best to protect and maintain it. We love this place. It was purchased by our late parents 15 years ago as a special place where our entire family could get together, and it still is! We hope you enjoy our holiday home as much as we do. A large family home sleeping 10 adults and 6 kids with ease. Situated in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO Heritage Site, only an hour's drive from Cape Town. Pringle Bay offers an idyllic outdoor lifestyle: safe swimming, snorkelling around the many rock pools and crevices on the beach. Our charming beach house is located in the heart of Pringle Bay - the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. Big windows throughout frame gorgeous views of the surrounding area. About Pringle Bay
Pringle Bay is a hidden gem nestled in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site supporting over 1,600 species of fynbos. This tranquil coastal village sits at the foot of Hangklip Mountain, just 90 minutes from Cape Town. The area offers an idyllic outdoor lifestyle with safe swimming, snorkelling around rock pools, and pristine beaches. Nature lovers can enjoy bird watching (look out for Sunbirds, Sugar birds, and African Black Oystercatchers), scenic drives along the famous R44 Clarence Drive, and nearby hiking trails. Don't miss the penguin colony at Stony Point in neighbouring Betty's Bay, or take a trip to Hermanus for whale watching during season. Pringle Bay maintains its small village charm with local shops, restaurants, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
