The Pecan Cottage

The Pecan Cottage is in a tranquil garden setting with the green parrots often visiting the Pecan tree to feast on the nuts. Delta Park is in walking distance for birders and fitness enthusiasts. Fast, stable Wi-Fi and a big desk make it easy to work from home; ideal for longer stays. The convenient location means easy access to Hyde Park, Sandton and to OR Tambo international airport via the Gautrain.

When the majority of the neighbourhood is without electricity during load shedding, the space inside the Pecan Cottage has lights, TV and internet. This is thanks to the solar panels on the main house. The spacious interior makes it comfortable for longer stays. There is a dedicated space for working from home with a fast, stable internet.

Nestled at the top of the large garden is the Pecan Cottage which gives visitors access to a private space. There is a patio with access to the garden which is exclusively for use by the visitors. The rooms are spacious and have easy access to the garden through sliding glass doors.

There is an electric blanket on the bed for cold, winter nights. There is a dishwasher and washing machine in the Cottage, which makes for a more comfortable stay.
