The Parkwood is an owner-run boutique hotel on Worcester Road, in one of the jacaranda-lined streets on the quiet side of Rosebank. Its rooms come in three grades, standard, luxury and executive, all on a single level and all opening onto the garden. Breakfast is included, and dinner is served Monday to Thursday in a dining room given more room than a hotel this size usually allows. There is a pool, a patio to sit out on in the evenings, and a library nook indoors. Rosebank is a ten-minute walk away for its restaurants, rooftop bars, African craft markets and mall, and the Gautrain station there runs to OR Tambo, Sandton and Pretoria.
