About this place
Simbavati Waterside flanks a large dam in the southern Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, about 30 minutes' drive from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. Throughout the year predators, elephants, hippo and buffalo come down to the water, sometimes in herds of hundreds, so the game viewing carries on between drives.
Water-facing luxury suites have a king or twin beds, a game-viewing deck over the dam and a bathroom with an outdoor rain shower. Two suites add a private KolKol hot tub, and four two-bedroom suites suit families. For a night out in the bush, the Shilope Sleepout Deck is an elevated, solar-lit platform with a king bed, its own shower and toilet, and a canape dinner.
The lodge has a pool, a Beach Boma at eye level with the dam, a Bush Boma, a wine cellar, a lounge and bar, a spa, a gym and a safari boutique, and private dining settings for couples.

Referral commissions, where applicable, are paid to the referring party upon booking confirmation.
