About this place
Simbavati Cederberg Ridge is a wilderness lodge on a 3,000 hectare farm in the Cederberg, about two and a half hours' scenic drive from Cape Town or the Winelands. The lodge looks over the farm's natural fynbos to the Cederberg Wilderness beyond.
The lodge has the feel of a modern African farmhouse, with vaulted ceilings, wooden beams and natural textures, and French windows onto a covered stoep and dining deck over the garden and mountains. There are eleven rooms and suites, a restaurant with a view, two large swimming pools and indigenous gardens that run into the veld. Superior Pool Suites can arrange a romantic sleep-out on their private terrace under the Cederberg stars.
Stays on the full board and activities basis include two scheduled excursions a day, which change with the seasons: rock art outings, guided rooibos farm tours, full-day trips into the Cederberg, guided walks in the Cederberg Wilderness, sundowner walks, star-gazing and summer boating. Walking and mountain bike trails start at the lodge.

Note: The 2.5% conservation contribution, payment processing fees, and any applicable referral commissions are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Conservation contribution fees (2.5%) support conservation and community projects in the destinations you visit. Payment processing fees are absorbed by Spekboom for completed bookings, but cannot be recovered once a booking is cancelled. Referral commissions, where applicable, are paid to the referring party upon booking confirmation.
Payout Protection: Guest payments are held until the free cancellation window passes. This protects guests who cancel within their cancellation window and ensures hosts receive guaranteed payouts after the cancellation period ends.
