Why Spekboom?
Named after the spekboom, the plant that restores the Eastern Cape thicket. SANBI records that restored spekboom thicket can store carbon at rates comparable to a deciduous forest, and that it brings degraded, overgrazed land back to life. Just as the plant regenerates landscapes, we turn travel into funding for the places you visit. Every booking contributes to projects that repair ecosystems, protect wildlife, and uplift communities across Africa.
