Tintswalo Summer House is a restored heritage villa in Glencairn, a small seaside village on False Bay between Fish Hoek and Simon's Town. It has sweeping ocean views, refined interiors and easy access to the beaches, tidal pools and coastal paths of the Southern Peninsula.
Each of its twelve rooms is styled around a colour of its own: the forest-green Thistle Room, the creamy Charlotte, the lavender Papillon, the dramatic Noir, the ocean-deep Azure, the sunny Citron and the pink Rosie among them. The Luxury rooms vary in their features, from sea views to ground-floor access and pool-side patios. The four Deluxe rooms have larger layouts opening onto the pool deck or set higher with sea views and double vanities, and the Bit of Blue honeymoon room has a sea view and a large enclosed balcony.
Breakfast, a bottle of wine on arrival, sunset canapés and cocktails, a daily tea ritual with the house tea sommelier, wifi and parking are included. The Summer House Eatery serves meals through the day, and Cape Point, Boulders Beach and its penguin colony are a short drive away.

The Verdant Room, also called the Green Room: a smaller room in calming greens with a single vanity and a shower over the bath, which can be set up to interlead with the Rosie Room for a family or friends.

Six individually styled rooms, each themed on a colour: Robin, Azure, Noir, Rosie, Papillon and Marigold. En-suite bathrooms are mostly shower-only, and features vary from room to room, including sea views, ground-floor access and pool-side patios.
