Camp Makgadikgadi

Camp Makgadikgadi is a new camp of four semi-permanent tented suites on the Boteti River, on the western edge of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. It opens on 1 March 2027 and takes no more than 8 guests. It is part of Untamed Places, a safari company that is 100% Botswana citizen-owned and run from Maun.

In the dry months the Boteti River is a lifeline for wildlife, drawing great gatherings of game to the water, including Africa's second-largest zebra migration. Beyond the river the land opens out towards the pans, one of Botswana's least crowded corners, with huge skies by day and wide, starlit skies at night. Game drives, guided walks, birdwatching and village visits make up the days.

Stays are all inclusive, covering meals, local drinks, two activities a day, laundry, park fees and the road transfer from Maun International Airport.
