Known for the dramatic Keurbooms River gorge, excellent fishing, and peaceful nature walks, it offers a quieter alternative to the busier town centre. The river mouth provides safe swimming, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding, while the surrounding forests are home to diverse birdlife.
