The campsite has five stands set between the Guesthouse and the Schuur, with a small ablution block, an outdoor dish-washing area, donkey-heated warm water and power points for campers. To keep it private and secluded, no more than one or two groups are taken at a time.

De Oude Schuur is a one-of-a-kind renovated 100-year-old stone shed with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sleeper couch and a kitchen, sleeping up to ten yet romantic enough for two. Room 1 has a queen bed and an en-suite with a romantic Victorian bathtub, Room 2 has two twin beds that convert to a king, and Rooms 3 and 4 each have two twin beds. It is the only unit with a conference facility, with Wi-Fi and a spectacular view — making it ideal for a working holiday.

The Guesthouse is a three-bedroom Victorian-style sandstone farmhouse, lovingly restored to keep its old-world charm, with spectacular views. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a romantic Victorian bath and basin, the second has two twin beds and the third a double bed with a single daybed — all with electric blankets. A second bathroom has a bath and shower. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, electric oven, airfryer, microwave, Nespresso machine and dishwasher. The stoep — the heart of the house — has a covered sandstone braai and a heated jacuzzi, and the sitting room has an open fireplace, a double sleeper couch and a dining table for eight.
