De Hoop in Plett is a double-storey holiday home in Plettenberg Bay, about 200 metres, a three-minute walk, from Robberg Beach. It is one of the De Hoop Collection's Friends of De Hoop stays and is not in De Hoop Nature Reserve.
The house has four bedrooms, two with king beds and two with twins that can be made up as kings, plus a bonus room for two children, and four bathrooms, two of them en suite, with an outdoor shower for after the beach. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen with a separate scullery and laundry, with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and an open-plan lounge and dining room that opens onto a sunny terrace and garden. Upstairs, a second lounge and a bar lead onto a large deck with views over the garden and part of the sea. The house is serviced daily.
Plettenberg Bay's restaurants, shops and markets are about ten minutes' drive away, and Robberg Nature Reserve, the rest of the Garden Route and whale-watching from the shore in season are all close by.
