EHRA's Famous Treetop Base Camp — the ultimate desert escape in one of Namibia's most remote areas. Located 50km outside Uis (toward Khorixas) in the Erongo region, the camp is nestled between the Ugab valley in a secluded area next to the Ugab riverbed.

Guests can soak up the sun, enjoy unparalleled views of the Ugab valley, and, if lucky, watch Namibia's free-roaming desert elephants visit EHRA's manmade water point.

**The space**

This self-catered escape features artistically designed kitchen facilities, a large dining space, a braai area, a tree-top platform overlooking the riverbed, and eco-friendly ablution facilities.

**Elephants & Conservation**

Base Camp is a very popular attraction for the local Ugab elephants — Mama Afrika's herd of 12 is the largest. A manmade waterpoint close to camp is regularly visited by the various Ugab elephant herds. All proceeds go directly to EHRA's desert elephant conservation programmes.
