Waar om die Black-winged Stilt in Suid-Afrika te sien

Hosts on Spekboom have recorded the Black-winged Stilt at stays in or beside Kruger National Park, Goukamma Nature Reserve, Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, Rocherpan Nature Reserve, De Hoop Nature Reserve and Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve and other reserves. A record means a host has seen it on the property or nearby, which makes these the places to base yourself; it is never a guarantee of a sighting on any given day.

The black-necked stilt is a locally abundant shorebird of American wetlands and coastlines. It is found from the coastal areas of California through much of the interior western United States and along the Gulf of Mexico as far east as Florida, then south through Central America and the Caribbean to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands.
